The Phoenix Nero Canvas Panel combines the texture of canvas with the stability of a rigid MDF panel, offering a black surface ready to paint. It is an option designed for artists seeking to work on a dark base, where the background takes a direct part in the composition.
Its medium-grain cotton canvas of 300 g/m² is prepared with Phoenix universal black triple priming, with a Gesso Negro-type finish, which favours good colour adhesion and a balanced response in application. The black base makes it possible to heighten contrasts, lights, metallic tones and depth effects with greater visual intensity.
Mounted on a rigid 3 mm MDF panel, it provides a firm, lightweight surface that is easy to handle. A practical, expressive alternative for works in acrylic, oil and mixed media that seek a more intense, contemporary and distinctive finish.
