The Artist Mix stretched canvas from Phoenix is made with a mixed canvas of 65 % polyester and 35 % cotton, a combination designed to offer resistance, elasticity and stability in artistic work. Its weight of 360 g/m² and medium grain provide a versatile surface, suitable for oil, acrylic, mixed media and more demanding applications such as spray.
The surface incorporates Phoenix triple universal priming, acid-free, which promotes good colour adhesion, controlled absorption and balanced luminosity. The high polyester percentage gives the canvas greater structural resistance, keeping a stable response in both traditional techniques and more expressive work.
Mounted on a pine wood stretcher, with a bevelled profile, suspended canvas and a traditional side-tack system, it offers a firm, durable base for painting. Depending on the format, it is available in 22 × 37 mm and 28 × 54 mm profiles, and may include internal crossbars or crosses to reinforce stability. It includes wooden wedges to readjust canvas tension with use and over time.
